Symptom 12: Mouth sores
Cold sores are very common — but if you notice any sores that aren’t healing, this could be a sign of some mouth cancers. Other symptoms would include swelling or numbness in your jaw; white or red patches on your gums; or pain that does not go away.
With so many different types of cancer, ANY abnormal symptoms are a reason to seek medical attention. Taking a proactive approach is the best possible course of action. Best case scenario, it’s nothing — worst case, your health will be at-risk, but you will have caught it early (which can make all the difference).
